During the study course the student evaluates and analyses his/her written skills in different styles and genres. On the basis of own publications, presentations, course papers and other independently prepared works and additional materials handed out at university lecturer’s lectures the student trains to express himself/herself and write accurately, using appropriate vocabulary (terms, foreign words) and stylistically fit means of expression, as well as to shape the text – in accordance with scientific, business or publicistic style guidelines and own professional orientation and linguistically creative manifestation possibilities.
Using practical skills (morphostylistic, lexicostylistic and text syntaxis exercises and tasks used at seminars) the student masters (and strengthens) practical writing and editing skills (at the level of choice of lexemes and text) in different styles and genres.
In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
