About Study Course

Objective

Give students knowledge on the psychological aspects of leadership, as well as on the role of leadership on performance of organizations and teams.

Knowledge

1.As a result of the study course acquisition students gain knowledge on the psychological aspects of leadership, the role of the leadership on individual, team’s and organizational performance.

Skills

1.Students will be able to identify and analyse issues related to leadership processes within an organization.

Competences

1.After completing the course students will be able to evaluate the psychological aspects of leadership within organizations, as well as identify and analyse main leadership issues in particular situations, its causes and look for possible solutions.

Students explore and compare leadership theories that are used in leadership psychology field and prepare for the seminar. Students prepare and present a research on leadership psychology, by performing analysis of leadership process within an organization.

Active participation in classes (10%), presentation of independent work – students prepare and present a study research by conducting practical leadership process analysis within the organization (50%), at the end of the semester – examination (40%). On course completion students fill in the course evaluation surveys.
