About Study Course

Objective

To acquire the necessary knowledge for a transfusion specialist in surgery, traumatology, neonatology, immunology, as well as emergency medicine.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Professionally and effectively apply blood components and blood products, as well as advise doctors of other specialties on clinical transfusion issues.

Skills

1.Immunohematological examination and carrying out compatibility tests. Application of blood components in surgery, traumatology, neonatology, as well as in emergency medicine.

Competences

1.Knowing clinical transfusion, work in a blood preparation institution/ hospital blood room/ immunohematology laboratory, professionally and effectively apply blood components and blood preparations, as well as advise doctors of other specialties on clinical transfusion issues.
