About Study Course

Objective

To obtain knowledge about etiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnostics, differential diagnostics, treatment and prevention principles of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, incl. tuberculosis, nosocomial infections.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.During acquisition of the study course a medical resident acquires knowledge about etiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnostics, differential diagnostics, treatment and prevention principles of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, incl. tuberculosis, nosocomial infections.

Skills

1.As a result of acquisition of the study course a medical resident will be able to determine etiology of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, incl. tuberculosis, nosocomial infections, make differential diagnostics, perform treatment and prevention.

Competences

1.As a result of successful acquisition of the study course a medical resident will develop compulsory competence of a certified public health physician which allows to determine etiology of contagious skin diseases, sexually transmitted infections, lung diseases, incl. tuberculosis, nosocomial infections, make differential diagnostics, perform treatment and prevention.
