About Study Course
Objective
1. To ensure the acquisition and improvement of evidence-based theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the diagnostics of periodontal diseases.
2. To ensure the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for determining the prognosis and developing a treatment plan for periodontal patients.
3. To develop and practice an interdisciplinary approach to clinical work.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge of diagnostics and treatment of periodontal diseases. Knowledge of peri-implant mucositis, peri-implant, etiology, and treatment methods. Knowledge of prognosis and the development of the treatment plan for periodontal patients in need of dental prosthetics. Knowledge of clinical crown lengthening. Knowledge of an interdisciplinary approach to clinical work.
Skills
1.Is able to diagnose and treat periodontal diseases. Is able to diagnose peri-implant mucositis, peri-implantitis and prescribe appropriate treatment. Is able to determine the prognosis and develop a treatment plan for periodontal patients in need of dental prosthetics. Is able to determine the need for clinical crown lengthening and perform its planning. Is able to use an interdisciplinary approach to clinical work.
Competences
1.Uses the acquired knowledge in clinical practice. Is able to make an exact diagnosis and develop a treatment plan for a periodontal patient in need of dental prosthetics. Interprets and analyzes the treatment results.
