Knowledge
1.Etiology, pathogenesis, morphology, diagnostics, staging, principles of treatment according to stage and possible treatment complications of malignant diseases of female genital organs (cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar cancer, gestational trophoblastic disease), identification of violence against woman, diagnostics and treatment of female sexual dysfunction, diagnostics and treatment of infertility, diagnostics and treatment of genital tract infections, pathology of newborn adaptation period (diseases of newborn period, breastfeeding problems, problems of preterm newborn, health promotion and disease prophylaxis).
Skills
1.• To assess risk factors of gynecological oncology diseases, identify symptoms, to plan examination to confirm diagnose of gynecological oncology disease, to understand principles of treatment according to stage (surgical therapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy); • To be able to diagnose infertility, plan examination in case of infertility; • To be able to identify signs of intimate partner violence against woman, know how to lead conversation to confirm violence; • To be able to identify female sexual dysfunction, give explanations to woman about this problem; • To be able to identify possible problems of newborn in antenatal period, to be competent in identifying problems and basic principles of treatment / care of newborn; • To apply knowledge of processes of human homeostasis in the development of the approach in the management of gynecological diseases; • To apply the knowledge in morphology in diagnostic and differential diagnostic in gynecological oncology.
Competences
1.To apply the knowledge and skills gained as a result of the study course in the identification of female sexual dysfunction, the identification of intimate partner violence, the identification of malignant diseases of the female genital organs and the selection of appropriate action tactics.

|
The exam will take place at the end of the second semester. It will consist of clinical scenarios in which students will participate in groups. It will include the application of practical skills. After each practical clinical scenario, a discussion on the topic will follow, including a theoretical knowledge assessment on the relevant subject. |
