About Study Course

Objective

To acquire and develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to internal diseases.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After completing the Internal Diseases study course, the medical resident knows the general and special diagnosis and differential diagnosis of internal diseases, knows the tactics of action in assessing the condition of multimorbid patients, prescribing examinations and therapy.

Skills

1.By completing the Internal Diseases study course, the resident has acquired practical skills in determining the indications for hospitalisation of patients with an internal profile, preliminary diagnosis of diseases, assessment of the condition, prescription and evaluation of special examinations, and treatment.

Competences

1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, the medical resident will be able to formulate a diagnosis, perform differential diagnosis, interpret the examination data, develop a structural treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically formulate and explain the goals of treatment, evaluate its effectiveness and side effects.
