About Study Course

Objective

Prepare ophthalmologists to be able examine, evaluate patients with acute surgical disease.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge about surgical patient examination, emergency situations in surgery. Principles of asepsis and antiseptics.

Skills

1.Abdominal palpation. Abdominal surgery (5x). Taking part in examination of surgical patient (5x).

1.Evaluate acute surgical patient and act according to the current guidelines.
