Knowledge
1.Students acquire knowledge about sociology theories, social psychology concepts, human socialisation process as well as the science of psychology, research methods, history, human cognitive and emotional sphere, personality.
Skills
1.Students acquire the skills to navigate the theories of sociology, social psychology basic concepts and human socialisation process dynamics, as well as the basic concepts of general psychology, human cognitive and emotional spheres, basic concepts of personality.
Competences
1.Analyse the processes of individual socialisation and personality development. Understand the basic concepts of general psychology, cognitive, emotional and personality processes.

Students carry out an analysis of socialisation processes, prepare a presentation relating to these processes and present during the lecture. One scientific research analysis is being prepared and presented on the topics of social psychology related to health care.

The research is selected using RSU electronic databases. A presentation of the research on the topics of social psychology in the health care sector is being prepared – 2 points. The reserarch is presented on seminar – 2 pints. The presentation reflects the research topic, the topicality and purpose of the research, the sample of respondents and its characteristics, the research tools used 3 points. The results and conclusions of the research are analyzed based on theoretical findings – 3 points.

A life history is collected (interview) – 2 points. An analysis of the life history is performed, describing the socialization process at different age according to the stages of the socialization process. Note the risk factors for the development of socialization processes and their impact on the individual. Note and analyze the expression of emotions and feelings during the interview – 4 points. To draw conclusions about the clarified individual socialization processes in the analysis. Note personal benefits 2 points. A presentation is prepared and presented during the seminar – 2 points.

Active participation in classes: prepared answers to discussion questions about current theme and participation in discussions; completion of self-examination tests after each lecture – 20%.
Independent work No.1 – analysis of the socialization process. A life interview is promoted and a presentation is prepared, which is presented in a seminar – 30%.
Independent work No.2 – analysis of one scientific research. A presentation on scientific research in the field of health care and presentations in seminars is prepared – 30%.
Exam – theoretical knowledge tests – 20%. The final rating is given on a 10-point scale.
