About Study Course

Objective

Promote the growth of knowledge, understanding, psychological skills and competences necessary for students to acquire and improve the mobility technology of athletes in order to acquire and improve the technology of elements of different sports more effectively by deepening their understanding with the activities of sports specialists in the integrated preparation of athletes and providing psychological support to athletes.

Preliminary Knowledge

Prerequisites for general and developmental psychology, understanding of learning and teaching theories, in-depth specialisation of a sport.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Students define, know and understand the psychological and integrative preparation of athletes, define psychological skills, recognise the application of psychological skills in the learning and improvement process of technical elements of athletes.

Individual work and tests

Description of psychological and integrative preparation of athletes of the selected sport and analysis of required psychological skills

Skills

1.Students understand the process of teaching motion technology, are able to analyse the required psychological skills of athletes for more efficient learning and improvement of the technology of elements of different sports.

Characterisation of the stages of the acquisition of technical elements and analysis of the usefulness of the use of essential psychological skills in order to successfully implement the acquisition and improvement of movements in a chosen sport.

2.Is able to discuss the integral preparation and psychological support of athletes in the process of learning movement techniques.

1.Students are able to develop and modulate the application of psychological skills necessary for an athlete to facilitate the acquisition of a specific technical element and, by evaluating the progress of the acquisition process, to develop psychological support recommendations for improvement of this process.
