About Study Course

Objective

To ensure acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in immunology according to the requirements of the Regulation of the Haematology specialty in order to prepare a physician for certification in the specialty of haematology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Upon completion of the study course, the resident will have knowledge of: - basic principles of immunology; - immunological changes in cases of oncology diseases; - changes of immune system during chemotherapy and radiotherapy; - laboratory diagnostics.

Skills

1.Upon completion of the study course, the resident will be able to: - assess immune status tests, assess changes in dynamics; - define treatment for improvement of the immune system in cancer patients.

Competences

1.To examine and consult cancer patients, recommend treatment; To assess immune status tests; To participate in councils.
