Knowledge
1.A doctoral student acquires how to carry out scientific work, to present and defend their research results according to the following assessment criteria: continuity of the text, information density, terminological precision, clear reasoning, problem solving, compliance of the thesis content with the set goals and objectives, convincing theoretical basis, thesis topicality, research novelty and validity of conclusions.
Skills
1.During the course the students develop the following skills: ability to carry out scientific work; ability to draw up the research results; to participate in an academic discussion on strengths and weaknesses of their own and other doctoral students’ doctoral theses and research fields, ability to discuss issues of the management science; ability to structure the material to be presented.
Competences
1.Management-related analytical competence, methodological competence, communicative competence, organisational competence, knowledge acquisition competence, personal self-development competence. Doctoral students are able to perform independent, critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation; independently set the research idea, plan, structure and manage large volume research projects, including international research projects.

The final grade for the course results from the following grades: 1) completeness of the doctoral thesis (30%); 2) quality of presentation (30%); 3) scientific discussion (40%). Assessment criteria: knowledge of the research material and its organisation; logical structure; academic language; information density; ability to apply scientific theories and methods.
