About Study Course

Objective

Understand the development, course and treatment of the endocrine pathology in children in contrast to the endocrine pathology in adults. Know and understand sexual differentiation disorders in childhood. Management of gonadal dysgenesis, pubertal disorders, adrenal pathology, Calcium-Phosphorus-Vitamin D metabolic disorders and skeletal pathology in neonates and children. Diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases in children.

1.Understanding of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of the endocrine pathology in children.

1.Know how to assess endocrine problems in children and young people.

1.Ability to assess endocrine disorders in children and youth. Make the right decision for the examination and follow-up of a paediatric patient according to the principles of evidence-based medicine.

Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in paediatric and adolescent endocrinology. Participate in the care of paediatric patients in a specialised unit and in outpatient consultations. Participate in 8 seminars. Prepare clinical presentations for seminars, get acquainted with the latest literature and prepare literature reviews. Understand the diagnostic and treatment features of endocrine diseases in children. Preparation for the examination.
