About Study Course

Objective

Learning the management process of the sports industry and the factors that influence it.

Preliminary Knowledge

Studied study courses – theory of management, basics of commercial activity, sports history.

Knowledge

1.The student knows: 1. Sports, its importance, sports areas. 2. Legal regulation of the sports industry in Latvia. 3. Sports management system in Latvia. 4. State sports policy and its implementation mechanism.

Skills

1.Identify the functioning and management processes of the sports industry.

Competences

1.1. Analyze the national sports policy and sports legislation. 2. To define the preconditions for the development of sports in the city, county, and country.
