Knowledge
1.To know paediatric patients major gastrointestinal disease characteristics, the differences in the investigation and treatment; the potential lifelong impact and prognosis for the adult patient.
Skills
1.To be able to examine adolescent patients, to assess the patient's physical and mental development; to predict the possible course of disease in adult life.
Competences
1.To predict and prevent paediatric patients risks during the adult practice takeover; to be able to work with paediatric gastroenterologist; find opportunities for collaboration during patient treatment and retain observation continuity.

Continue to introduce pediatric gastroenterology specialty, including examination, treatment, core focus on the period when said patients have to be overtaken by the adult practice, to learn age-appropriate changes in order to the assess the disease impact on the subsequent patient progress, to be able to evaluate the diagnostic and therapeutic methods, the impact on the patient's overall development, to be able to choose age based the investigation and treatment regimens for the most common chronic diseases, e.g., inflammatory bowel disease; to be able to assess congenital disorders and developmental defect significance.
Prepare for demonstration and discussion 5-7 slides on the topic of each seminar. Prepare a presentation on the peculiarities of pediatric digestive endoscopy, indications, most common pathologies and endotherapy options.

Theoretical knowledge by written answers for 2 questions. Practical Skills - the whole cycle during classes. The students should be given two cases of the disease (inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease) real follow-up plan and managing principles from adolescents to adult practice.
