About Study Course
Objective
To promote the education of highly qualified specialists – senior coaches in the sport – who would successfully plan, organize, lead, and evaluate the training process, educational-methodical sessions, and competitions in accordance with the rules of the sport and the requirements of the professional standard for senior coaches in the respective sport
Preliminary Knowledge
Knowledge of sports theory, pedagogy, sports pedagogy, sports didactic, psychology or sports psychology, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Study courses and knowledge in sports theory, training didactics, pedagogy have been acquired. Successful study courses’ ’pedagogical improvement in qualification’ ’.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knows and is able to explain the way the sport is prepared.
Individual work • The content of the exam shall be defined and determined by the sports specialisation manager in accordance with the requirements of the placement
2.Knows the classification of sports technique, teaching and improvement methodology, planning and organisation of training – training process and competitions.
3.Knows and analyzes the planning of the training process according to the specifics of each age stage.
4.Knows the basics of attack and defensive building, compares pros and cons.
5.Analyses different tactical solutions in the chosen sport, the importance of psychological preparedness in modern sport.
Skills
1.Can teach and improve sports techniques, build a training plan.

2.Diagnose and correct errors in the students’ technique, determine the amount and intensity of the load appropriate to the students’ abilities

3.Assess students’ physical, functional condition and technical, tactical and psychological fitness

4.Develop physical characteristics, apply different tactical techniques.
5.Understands the importance of psychological preparedness in modern sport.
6.Know how to work with state-of-the-art IT tools by performing video analysis of commands.
Competences
1.Competence in sports performance techniques, teaching and training methodologies.

2.Understanding the legalities of the training process in sport and being able to tailor it to students’ individual needs.

5.Competence in video analysis of players and teams using state-of-the-art IT tools.
