About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the clinical practice of plastic surgery in accordance with the requirements of the specialty of plastic surgery.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge in topographical and pathological anatomy, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of malformed body parts, as well as diagnosis and differential diagnosis of acquired defects, age-regressive changes, burns, injuries or malformed body parts, specifically required examination methods and techniques, wound treatment in processes and possible complications of plastic surgery treatment.

Skills

1.Work and use knowledge in permanent emergency and planned plastic surgery, constantly perform operations in plastic surgery, prepare medical documentation, use medical literature and terminology. Draw up treatment plans for plastic and reconstruction. surgical patients, perform surgical and medical treatment in high quality.

Competences

1.Assist and independently perform operations to fulfill the volume of operations required for certification. Discuss and compare treatment plans and surgical techniques in plastic surgery, prepare critical/analytical articles in plastic surgery. Use the knowledge gained during the learning process in plastic, reconstructive and microsurgery, acute and planned work, respect the patient's wishes, legislation.
