About Study Course

Objective

Acquire detailed theoretical knowledge of the indications and possibilities of surgical and invasive treatment of congenital and acquired heart diseases; master examination and diagnostic methods, instruments and equipment used in invasive cardiology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student acquires basic knowledge of surgical treatment methods for heart diseases.

Skills

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student understands the application of surgical and transvascular techniques in congenital and acquired heart diseases.

Competences

1.Upon completion of the study programme, the student is able to independently carry out preoperative and postoperative care of a cardiology patient, using the acquired knowledge and modern technologies.
