Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the outpatient pulmonology study course, using the acquired knowledge and understanding, the medical resident will be able: 1) to explain the working principles, indications, side effects and contraindications of the groups of drugs most commonly used; 2) to evaluate the patient’s vital signs and objective lung examination data; 3) to prescribe appropriate examinations and interpret their results; 4) to define differential diagnoses; 5) to prescribe an appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plan.
Skills
1.After the outpatient pulmonology study course, the medical resident will know how to: 1) collect the most important information obtained by examining the patient and evaluating the data of additional examinations; 2) apply appropriate examination and treatment methods; 3) present the patient with lung diseases in councils, visits; 4) draw up a treatment and rehabilitation plan.
Competences
1.Using the acquired knowledge and skills, the medical resident will be able to formulate a diagnosis, perform differential diagnosis, interpret the examination data, develop a structural treatment and rehabilitation plan, logically formulate and explain the goals of treatment, evaluate its effectiveness and side effects.
