About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course is to provide basic knowledge and to promote understanding of the principles and objectives of social rehabilitation in working with different groups of clients, including the protection of children’s rights, prevention of violence. Promote awareness of social problems and social exclusion risk groups, regulatory enactments necessary for the provision of support from different target groups. Develop students’ understanding of the role of digitisation in social rehabilitation by developing skills to critically evaluate and practically apply digital solutions in the rehabilitation process.
Preliminary Knowledge
Knowledge of paediatrics and psychological basics related to professional activities.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.1. Explain professional terms and definitions of social rehabilitation; 2. Describe the objectives and tasks of social rehabilitation, the responsibilities of members of the inter-professional team and the principles of inter-institutional cooperation. 4. Explains the definitions that characterize different customer groups. 5. Lists the objectives and tasks of social rehabilitation services for different groups of clients. 6. Is familiar with the basic principles of digitisation and the use of digital tools in social rehabilitation, understanding their impact on access to services, quality and customer engagement.
Skills
1.1. Analyse the nature of the social problem; 2 provide examples of social exclusion risk groups, identify their characteristics; 3. Analyses social functioning capabilities for different customer groups. 4. Demonstrate the skills to apply appropriate digital tools to the social rehabilitation process, taking into account the individual needs of clients, ethical and data protection principles.

Competences
1.Assess and analyse social problems in the context of the profession, understand and promote the improvement of clients’ social skills and the development of new skills. Integrate digital solutions into social rehabilitation by making professional decisions independently, working with clients and an interdisciplinary team, as well as providing ethical, safe and efficient services.
