About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.During acquisition of the study course a medical resident acquires knowledge about etiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, laboratory diagnostics, differential diagnostics, treatment and prevention principles of dangerous infectious diseases, legionelosis, infections caused by helminths, fungi, protozoa, as well as obtain knowledge about herpes simplex virus infection and slow infections.
Skills
1.As a result of acquisition of the study course a medical resident will be able to evaluate patient’s condition, collect anamnesis (epidemiological and anamnesis morbi), able to organise laboratory diagnostics, perform differential diagnostics and provide treatment and prevention.
Competences
1.As a result of successful acquisition of the study course the medical resident’s competence reach the compulsory competence of a certified public health physician allowing to make diagnosis and provide treatment and prevention.
