About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to infectious diseases in accordance with the requirements of the immunology specialty regulation.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.The student acquires knowledge to recognise infections in case of primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, is able to characterise infections in an immunocompromised patient, evaluate immunograms, recommend additional investigations and clarify the diagnosis of the disease.

Skills

1.The student is able to prescribe immunological tests in immunodeficient patients with infections, is able to analyse immunological parameters, is able to identify the causes of immunological changes, is able to diagnose immunodeficiency in patients with infections.

Competences

1.The student is competent to analyse the immunological parameters of the patient, in case of infections in immunodeficient patients, competent to prescribe additional immunological tests, competent to diagnose immunodeficiency, prescribe immunocorrective therapy.
