Knowledge
1.To be aware of the activities of institutions/organizations (public or private) and the laws and regulations governing their activities; demonstrate knowledge of the activity of the institutions/organizations (public or private) and the legal issues connected to thereof; to be able to identify industry problems in the chosen placement and find appropriate case law.
Skills
1.Practical skills that are necessary for ensuring legal functioning of institutions/organisations (public or private) in compliance with occupational safety rules, confidentiality, commercial secret, and basic principles of professional ethics. To independently develop draft legal documents corresponding to the specificity (functions) of the operation of the institution/organisation (public or private); to determine the persons involved in a particular situation and their rights and obligations; the skill to solve standard and medium difficulty individual practical tasks; to assume responsibility and to announce initiative when carrying out placement tasks. To be able to explain and reasonably discuss the chosen field of law.
Competences
1.Student is able to independently formulate and analyse regulatory framework that concerns the activities of the institution of placement, to detect issues, provide a solution to them and to substantiate decisions; to plan work to be carried out at the institution/organisation (public or private) and to evaluate the quality of performance thereof; to demonstrate an understanding of, and responsibility for, the potential impact of one’s activities on the institution/organisation (public or private) and society at large. To be aware of the basic principles of professional ethics.

To observe the working hours for the placement and to work them in full, to prepare a placement diary, summarising the tasks performed at the institution of placement, to prepare a placement report.
The graduate prepares the placement report in accordance with the content and requirements of the placement programme.
The volume of the report is 7 – 12 pages (without annexes). The placement report should be typed on one side of white A4 sheet, with 1.5-line spacing, font size "14", Times New Roman style. Margins of the page should be as follows: left – 30 mm, right – 20 mm, top – 20 mm, bottom – 20 mm. The first line of each paragraph begins with a 15 mm indent.
The placement report consists of the following parts:
1) Front page (shall be executed in accordance with Annex 1 to the programme)
2) Placement agreement (signed original)
3) Placement assessment at the placement supervisor's institution (shall be executed in accordance with Annex 2 to the programme)
4) Content
5) Introduction (please indicate the placement purpose, tasks, duration of the placement, research methods and sources)
6) Table of contents in accordance with the tasks performed during the placement and Annex No. 3.
7) Conclusions and proposals
8) List of used laws and regulations and literature
9) Annexes: Draft documents or documents executed during the graduate's placement in which execution the graduate has participated. Draft documents can be attached to the report only if they are provided in the content of the placement report.
The graduate can’t provide identification data of the persons and/or data on legal or administrative proceedings without effective final decision in the placement or in the annexed documents.
The graduate shall submit the report to the placement supervisor of the institution after execution of the placement report. The institution's placement supervisor attaches the placement assessment to it after reviewing of the placement report. If the graduate has received a grade from 1 to 3 points from the practice supervisor of the institution, then the graduate is not admitted to the placement defence and must repeat the placement at the same or another institution.

Placement is being assessed by 10-point scale. When assessing the alumni placement, the following should be considered:
• Execution of assigned tasks, whether no violations took place at placement institution.
• Description of works performed at placement institution, explanation of problematic issues and quality of legal solution.
• Content, execution of the placement report – 30%.
• Placement defence presentation, defence speech and provided answers to the questions of the commission – 30%.
• Characteristic and assessment of the graduate by the placement supervisor of the institution – 40%.
