About Study Course

Objective

To provide students with an understanding of the study process and the nature of the nursing profession, while promoting the development of professional identity and academic competencies.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.As a result of successfully completing the course, the student will be able to describe the structure of the study process, its requirements and resources in nursing studies, understand the role and responsibilities of the nurse, competencies in healthcare, as well as ethical and accountability aspects of professional nursing practice, acquire knowledge about the significance of professional identity and its development during the course of studies, and master the basics of academic skills, including information retrieval, study planning, and academic documentation.

Skills

1.As a result of successfully completing the course, the student will be able to effectively search for, evaluate, and use information for academic and professional purposes, understand the principles of using the RSU library and databases, plan and organize their learning process, prepare and format academic documentation in accordance with academic requirements, analyze nursing practice tasks and apply acquired knowledge in practical scenarios, navigate the principles of healthcare and nursing organization, and evaluate ethical and professional accountability aspects in decision-making, while being familiar with RSU study regulations.

Competences

1.As a result of successfully completing the course, the student will be able to understand the study process and the nature of the chosen nursing profession, apply the acquired knowledge in practice, plan and organize their learning process, make decisions in accordance with ethical principles and professional accountability, and develop professional identity and collaboration skills in academic and professional settings.
