About Study Course

Objective

To provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills improvement in adult`s ambulatory Allergology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Student will be able to: • explain the terms in allergology; • describe the principles and use of allergology investigation methods; • explain the pathogenesis of allergic diseases at different ages; • assess the allergic patients; • name and describe allergic diseases; • compare different investigation methods; • define allergic diseases.

Skills

1.The student will be able to: • gather essential information about allergic diseases; • use the appropriate method for the investigation of allergic patients; • carry out differential diagnosis of allergic diseases; • choose the best/most appropriate method treatment plan; • select and use the best examinations according to disease and patient's age.

Competences

1.The student is able to use the acquired knowledge for the differential diagnosis of allergic diseases: • is able to formulate the diagnosis of allergic diseases; • is able to differentiate allergic diseases; • is able to interpret the findings of allergy tests; • is able to formulate recommendations for allergy prevention.

Prepare two presentations about complicated clinical cases. Teach a resident to communicate with patients, to collect necessary information – anamnesis, to acquire the skills for investigation a variety of allergic patients, to choose and make correct allergic diagnostic and treatment procedures, to draw up a prevention plan.
