About Study Course
Objective
Develop knowledge, skills and competence in mathematical processing of research data to use statistical data processing methods in psychological research.
Preliminary Knowledge
The course “Statistical Data Research Processing Methods” completed.

1.The student describes the basic concepts of mathematical statistics and their importance in psychological research.

Students complete 6 practical works during the course. Each practical work is assessed on a 10-point scale. The total assessment of the practical works is formed by the average assessment of all six works, which constitutes 50% of the final assessment of the study course.

The final test assesses students' knowledge of the basic concepts of mathematical statistics, data types and measurement scales, descriptive statistics, population and sample, statistical hypothesis testing, and the ability to interpret the results of statistical analysis in the context of psychological research. The test consists of 20 questions divided into 5 thematic blocks. Each thematic block contains 4 questions. For each correctly answered question, the student receives 0.5 points. The maximum possible score is 10 points.
