About Study Course

Objective

To introduce the students in depth to the application of regulatory acts regulating data processing in police work. Provide knowledge in the field of data protection, especially when conducting pre-trial investigations and operational activities. Promote students' understanding of the structure of information systems and databases, their operating principles and requirements in the field of data protection. To develop and strengthen the knowledge and skills of each student in the selection, acquisition, processing and storage of information.

Preliminary Knowledge

Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of legal theory and personal data processing.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After completing the course, they will be familiar with the acts regulating data processing. Will be able to determine the required amount of data to be processed. Will be able to justify the need for data processing.

Skills

1.Students will be able to identify and select the necessary data sources and data. Will be able to structure and visualize data.

Competences

1.By justifying the need for data processing, you will be able to select and use the data necessary for work. The processed data is used in accordance with the purpose of data processing and stored in a certain amount and term.
