About Study Course

Objective

Promote the professional competence of students in planning, organising and managing football teaching and learning by developing knowledge and practical skills in football techniques, tactics, application of playing rules and organisation of football competitions according to the age of the students, individual needs and learning outcomes to be achieved.

Preliminary Knowledge

Understands the principles of planning and organising the pedagogical process, is familiar with the characteristics of the development of the age stages of students and the basic principles of organising sports classes, is able to plan and manage the learning process, taking into account the safety requirements and learning outcomes to be achieved.

2.The rules of the football game shall apply, the training matches shall be organised and the duties of the referee and the secretary of the game shall be performed.

1.Plan and implement a safe, individualised and learner-oriented football learning process by selecting appropriate learning methods, organisation forms and learning means in accordance with the learning outcomes to be achieved.

2.Analyses and evaluates the results of the football learning process, establishes criteria for assessing pupils’ performance, provides feedback and plans to improve the learning process according to the individual needs of pupils.

3.Football training activities and competitions shall be organised in compliance with safety requirements, identifying potential risks and ensuring a health-promoting and safe learning environment.

Use of digital tools in football learning

Job description: The student chooses and analyses digital tools that can be used to teach football technique and tactics, organise the learning process and evaluate pupils’ learning achievements. The workshop shall present the solutions chosen and justify their suitability.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. At least three digital tools should be selected, their use analysed and conclusions presented.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the choice of digital tools by determining whether the selected tools are suitable for the implementation of the football learning process. Evaluate the analysis by determining whether the use of digital tools and their relevance to the learning outcomes to be achieved are justified. Evaluate the presentation by determining whether the student justifies his or her choice in a reasoned manner and uses professional terminology.

Methodology for teaching football techniques and tactics

Job description: The student develops a methodological description of the acquisition of football technique or simpler tactics and demonstrates the selected learning activity in the practice session.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. One topic of football technique or tactics should be selected, training activity developed and practically demonstrated.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the planning of the training activity by determining whether it corresponds to the age of the learners and the learning outcomes to be achieved. Assess the practical demonstration by determining whether the student demonstrates techniques or tactics correctly and uses appropriate learning methods. Assess the justification for the chosen methodology.

Organisation of football rules and refereeing

Job description: The student learns the rules of the football game, the gestures of referees and makes recommendations for organising school football competitions.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. Written material must be prepared and the performance of the referee in the training game practically demonstrated.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the understanding of the rules of the football game by determining whether the student correctly applies the rules of the game. Assess the performance of the referee’s duties by determining whether the referee’s gestures and decisions are appropriate to the situations of the game. Assess the appropriateness of the recommendations for the organisation of school football events.

Planning and conducting of football lessons

Job description: The student develops a lesson plan for football, formulates the results to be achieved, develops criteria for assessing pupil performance and practically manages the lesson piece.

Fulfilment conditions: The work must be designed individually. A lesson plan, a description of pupils’ performance levels, self-assessment and cross-assessment should be prepared.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the lesson planning by determining whether it is consistent with the purpose of the training, the results to be achieved and the needs of learners. Evaluate the criteria for assessing pupils’ performance by determining whether they are clear, relevant to the results to be achieved and usable in the learning process. The lesson management shall be evaluated by determining whether the selected methods ensure safe and effective learning of football.

Job description: The student develops and practically demonstrates a snippet of the football lesson, which includes learning football techniques or tactics, choosing teaching methods, evaluating students’ performance and complying with safety requirements. The practical part is followed by a written examination of theoretical knowledge of the rules of the football game, teaching methodology and valuation principles.

Assessment parameters and criteria: assess the scheduling of the football lesson by determining whether it corresponds to the learning outcomes to be achieved and the age of the learners. Evaluate the methodology for teaching football technique and tactics by determining whether the selected methods and tasks are pedagogically justified. Evaluates the application of the rules of the football game, the development of criteria for assessing pupils’ performance and compliance with safety requirements in the training process.
