About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.About the impact of work environment risk factors on the visual organ, about occupational diseases caused by these factors, diagnosis thereof, differential diagnosis with general diseases of the visual organ, treatment, working capacity examination and prevention.
Skills
1.To identify risk factors that cause diseases of the visual organ of occupational aetiology; perform the diagnosis of occupational diseases of the visual organ, draw up documents for confirming the diagnosis of occupational disease; To perform a visual acuity test and determine fields of vision.
Competences
1.To discuss the following: - the suitability of people with a visual pathology for work with visual strain; - the effectiveness of preventive measures to preserve eyesight.
