About Study Course
Objective
Ensure the acquisition and development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding high energy medical equipment in accordance with the requirements of the specialty of aesthetic medicine in order to prepare the physician for certification in accordance with the regulatory documents of the LR.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Will know the different types of high energy used in medicine and their effects on tissues (skin, skin, musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS). Will know indications, contraindications and potential risks, complications in handling high energy aesthetic medical equipment. Knows the types of radio frequency equipment (surface, bipolar, transcutaneous, fractional radio frequency). Will know the principle/types of ultrasound exposure on tissues. Understand how cryotherapy works. Knows types of cryotherapy (whole body cryotherapy, cold anaesthesia, cryoablation, cryolipolysis, etc.) Knows the cryotherapy indications, traindications and possible complications, risks (paradoxical adiposa hyperplasia) in aesthetic medicine.
Skills
1.Knows how to identify a patient who complies with the method. Knows how to choose appropriate protective equipment for the patient and staff.
Competences
1.Able to use the acquired knowledge in practice. Can explain pathology correction options/principles/options to the patient. Knows how to select and apply appropriate protective measures to yourself, staff, patient. Can explain the potential risks to the patient.
