About Study Course
Objective
First aid, ECG, basic knowledge in gynecology, cardiology, neurology, surgery, trauma.
To promote knowledge acquisition and to develop understanding and skills related to different emergency gynaecology situations, differential diagnosis and acute gynaecology diseases, and to give knowledge about emergency medicine in prehospital and hospital stage.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.• identify life-threatining emergencies, • describe pathophysiology of life-threatining emergencies, • apply ECG, laboratory and radiologic imaging to determine clinical diagnosis, • describe treatment principles in emegency situation in prehospital and hospital stages.
Skills
1.• apply medical equipment in life – threatening emergencies, • perform emergency care, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation • plan treatment in different emergency situations in prehospital and hospital stages, including trauma patient, • organise teamwork in life – threatening emergencies according to basic life support and advanced life support. • vaginal examination using speculum • vaginal examination
