Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Students will acquire basic knowledge of patient care, of factors contributing to recovery. Demonstrate skills in the latest medical technologies used in clinical care. Able to apply the acquired knowledge to practical clinical situations. Demonstrates the skills to assess patients and implement care. Effectively use simulation environments to develop skills.
Examination
Skills
1.Assess the patient’s condition and perform practical clinical procedures; prepare and administer medications prescribed to the patient; to provide an intravenous approach, e.g. through the peripheral venous catheter, to determine the patient’s vital signs; perform accurate collection of blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc. samples for laboratory examinations; perform procedures related to the digestive tract; perform procedures related to the urethra system; to document the prescribed and executed procedures. Application of clinical skills in practice based on acquired theoretical and simulation-based skills acquisition.
Submission of the Placement report

Systematic verification of theoretical and practical knowledge during classes assessed in e-studies with pass/fail. AT the end of the study course, OSKE exam at three test stations. In order to receive a successful assessment, the student must receive a positive assessment. The overall assessment of the test is formed by recalculating the points obtained by summing up the points from each test station. The final cumulative assessment of the study course is formed from THE OSKE exam at three test stations, which is expressed in a 10 (point) system and represents 80% of the total assessment and part of the placement, which is expressed in a 10 (point) system and represents 20% of the total assessment. |

During the placement, the student fills out the placement report with the manipulation performed and, accordingly, receives an assessment from the placement supervisor at the placement place in a 10 (point) system. The final cumulative assessment of the study course is formed from THE OSKE exam at three test stations, which is expressed in a 10 (point) system and represents 80% of the total assessment and part of the placement, which is expressed in a 10 (point) system and represents 20% of the total assessment. |
