Knowledge
1.- examination of emergency conditions and treatment plan drafting for children of various ages - Pre- and post-operative treatment plan drafting for patients; - Anesthesia types and options in pediatric anesthesiology; - Adequate analgesia in the post-operative period; - Diagnostics and treatment of shock; - Parenteral nutrition plan development. Must learn: • theoretical knowledge of the basic principles of anesthesiology for children of different ages and various diseases • theoretical knowledge of the basic principles of intensive care for children of different ages and various diseases • Basic principles of action, diagnosis and treatment of emergencies in children of different ages.
Skills
1.- to provide qualified emergency diagnostics and assistance for patients of various ages with various organ system illnesses and pathological conditions; - the ability to establish adequate therapy for patients of various ages before planned and emergency surgical treatment; - to draft a treatment/analgesic plan for children of various ages post-surgical treatment; - to perform tracheal intubation in standard cases; - to draft an antishock therapy plan for patients of various ages; - to draft a parenteral nutritional program for children of various ages; - to institute adequate analgesic therapy in the post-operative period.
Competences
1.- To provide initial and emergency assistance for neonatal and pediatric patients (with or without concomitant illnesses).
