About Study Course

Objective

To train residents for work in pathology centers and departments with the aim of determining precise diagnosis of the disease in cytological material.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knowledge of advanced investigation methods in cytology, indications of cytological examinations and criteria for cellular changes in various diseases.

Skills

1.Skills to diagnose the most common oncological and neonocological pathologies in the different cytological materials.

1.Decision to make a diagnose in the cytological material.

Theoretical exam with 3 orally opened questions about the topics discussed in the course of the cytology, slide making and investigation in different cases. Practical analyse of 5 independently prepared cytological slides stained with different staining methods.
