Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Students will be able to demonstrate the acquired knowledge and understanding as follows: • Be able to explain the terms of immunology; • Describe immunology investigative techniques in the principles of operation and use; • Explain differential diagnosis of immunological diseases; • Name and describe the basic immunological diseases; • Compare immunological diseases.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: • Collect relevant information about the patient's immunological history; • Apply the appropriate method in the diagnostics; • Choose the best/most appropriate method of investigation and treatment plan; • Select and use the necessary medicine.
Competences
1.• is able to formulate immunological diagnosis; • differentiate various immunological diseases; • interpret the data from immunological tests; • analyze immunograms; • develop investigation and treatment plan; • argue their conclusions.

The resident collects information – history, acquires skills to investigate patients of different age, to choose and apply appropriate immunological diagnostic and treatment procedures, to draw up a prevention plan. Inpatient/outpatient – 50/50.

50% of the assessment – on theoretical knowledge of immunology ,answers on 3 questions in written form and 50% assessment – on work with a patient – skill of investigation, diagnostics and treatment plan development, clinical case.
