About Study Course

Objective

Provide the student with the opportunity to independently develop a qualification paper on a topical topic in the field of oral health, applying research methods, analysing data and critically evaluating scientific literature.

Preliminary Knowledge

Skills in independent searching and evaluation of scientific literature, formulation of research question, purpose and design, analysis and interpretation of data, as well as knowledge of English at least B2 level.

1.Explain the principles for writing the qualification paper and developing the study, searching for and analysing scientific sources of information, as well as the acquisition, compilation and interpretation of data.

The reviewer evaluates the work according to the following criteria:

  1. Relevance and relevance of the topic to the professional field (p. 1)
  2. Clarity and logic of purpose, tasks and hypothesis (p. 2)
  3. Theoretical basis and use of sources of literature (p. 1)
  4. Choice and application of the study methodology (p. 1)
  5. Relevance of the practical part of the study to the objective and tasks (p. 1)
  6. Analysis, interpretation and conclusions of the results of the study (p. 1)
  7. Structure, presentation and compliance with requirements (p. 1)
  8. Prohibition and originality of plagiarism (1 p)
  9. Grammatical and literary quality (1 p)

The defence shall be assessed by the evaluation committee of the final works on the basis of the following criteria:

  1. Relevance of the content of the work to the chosen subject (1 p)
  2. Clear and logical presentation structure (1 p)
  3. Ability to explain the purpose, tasks and hypothesis of the study (1 p)
  4. Quality of explanation of research methods and results (1 p)
  5. Ability to justify the approaches and conclusions chosen (1 p)
  6. Communication skills, language culture and professional style (1 p)
  7. Ability to answer Commission questions (1 p)
  8. Visual and technical quality of the presentation (1 p)
  9. Preparedness, work orientation and convincing presentation (1 p)
  10. Respect presentation structure and time limit (1 p)

Description

Linguistic and academic editing of the qualification Paper, conformity of structure and presentation with requirements, correctness of the literature list, process of submitting the Paper in an e-environment following the approval of the head of the Paper, the requirement of academic integrity and plagiarism testing.
