About Study Course

Objective

To acquire basic knowledge of occupational medicine as a clinical discipline and its place in clinical medicine.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Knows the list of occupational diseases, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, examination possibilities thereof, incl. specific examination and relevant legislative acts, documents. Assesses health disorders of people working in various industries.

Skills

1.To carry out professional anamnesis collection, draw up an examination plan, including specific examinations, to interpret the hygienic characteristics of the workplace and safety data sheets.

Competences

1.Assess the work environment risks in connection with the possibility of developing occupational diseases, participate in solving questions about early diagnosis of occupational diseases, treatment, evaluation of work abilities.
