About Study Course

Objective

In the field of recreation qualification at a professional level, to strategically and analytically formulate the essence of recreation, implement and achieve the goals and functions of recreational activities and methods, based on the historical development of society, the social and economic potential of recreational activities, the quality of life of the population, and recreation policy in the country and worldwide.

Preliminary Knowledge

In the professional Bachelor’s programme of sports science, students need knowledge of human functioning, the nature of recreation and the role of recreational renewal, which gives students the opportunity to understand the employability and opportunities to be performed for different age stages and levels of preparedness. Knowledge of English is required at a sufficient level to read industry literature and guide course terminology in English.

1.Students shall formulate the nature, objectives and functions of recreation on the basis of the historical development of society, the social and economic potential of recreational activities, the quality of life of residents, recreational policies and laws and regulations in the country, Europe and the world.

Test

The planning of recreational activities/activities shall be based on the recreational resources of the region concerned, taking into account legislation, environmental and facility capacity. Develop a scenario for the selected activity or event based on the model and recommendations given by the lecturer: activity/event name, purpose, tasks, massaged methods and features, descriptions with shamatic drawings or plans, planned duration, audience, estimate, reflection - feedback. By dividing the pre-marketing, marketing and post-marketing phases.

Test

The student manages recreational activities or an event according to the previously developed plan - a scenario. The scheduled time is between 1.5 and 2 hours. When conducting activities or an event, the student shall be guided by the ethical and proesionality conditions of the recreational specialist. Providing safe environments, resource-friendliness, ethicality, professionalism, creativity, dealing with unplanned - difficult situations. Responsible action - in unplanned situations.

Testā ietvertie jautājumi ir ar vairākiem atbilžu variantiem,kā arī atsevišķos jautājkumos nepieciešams sniegt atbildi rakstiski. Tests sastāv no 20 jautājumiem, ko novērtē punktos par katru pareizu atbildi (sekmīgam vērtējumam jābūt atbildētam vismaz uz 50% jautājumu.
