Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fundamental issues of technology law, including the legal framework of artificial intelligence, ethical aspects, data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property protection in the digital environment, as well as European Union regulation regarding digital technologies and the governance of new technologies. Analyze and critically evaluate the impact of both national and international regulatory acts on the use of technologies, as well as explain and predict regulatory development trends in the field of technology law. Integrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills to adapt and address technology law challenges both domestically and internationally.
Skills
1.Students will develop skills in drafting and analyzing legal documents to address technology law issues in the digital environment. They will learn to critically evaluate and apply legal acts in data protection, cybersecurity, and intellectual property. Students will develop teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in the field of technology law, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in technology regulation issues. Students will develop research skills to analyze legal issues and predict regulatory developments.
Competences
1.Students will develop the competencies necessary for effective operation in the field of technology law. These competencies include the ability to analyze and interpret national and international legal acts that regulate data protection, cybersecurity, and intellectual property in the digital environment. Students will acquire the skills to identify and resolve legal issues, as well as develop sound solutions to technology law challenges. Students will acquire the competence to effectively collaborate with teams of technical and legal specialists to ensure compliance with regulatory acts and compliance with changing technology standards. Critical thinking and the ability to evaluate the development trends of technology regulation will allow students to make informed and responsible decisions, promoting the legal and sustainable use of new technologies.

• To master the materials, additional literature, etc. sources available in e-study;
• Positive assessment in the test;
• Written work on the following topics: Artificial Intelligence (AI) regulation and ethics, Data protection and cybersecurity challenges, Intellectual property protection in the digital environment, European Union regulation and the development of digital technologies, Development trends in technology law.
• To prepare for seminars (classes).

• All independent assignments of the study course submitted on time, completed qualitatively and successfully passed (15% of the overall grade);
