About Study Course

Objective

Extend the knowledge of normal and abnormal radiological findings of the respiratory system, be able to evaluate and describe diagnostic imaging (X-ray and CT of the lungs and mediastinum).

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of respiratory, pulmonary, pleural and mediastinal diseases in general and manifestations of other diseases of this system in particular, and their diagnosis.

Skills

1.Evaluate the results of imaging.

Competences

1.Use the acquired knowledge and skills to perform the functions of a highly qualified specialist and to advise patients with acquired and congenital lung and respiratory diseases at any age of the child.

During each study course, reports are prepared, clinical cases are reviewed, and the latest literature is reviewed. In addition to seminars, residents conduct research and pedagogical work, as well as attend lectures organised by the Centre for Continuing Education on interdisciplinary problems and theoretical guidelines in medicine and other sciences.
