About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge on the mechanisms of action of psychoactive medicinal products, adverse effects, indications and contraindications, as well as therapeutic doses thereof; interactions with other medicinal products.
Skills
1.The ability to select and implement an individually tailored pharmacological therapy for each patient, considering their age, sex and clinical peculiarities of the disease; to select appropriate medicinal products and implement therapy in the event of emergency psychiatric conditions; to prevent or reduce the potential adverse effects of medicinal products.
Competences
1.The students must possess the competencies required for the evaluation of medication therapy efficacy and cooperation with other professionals in order to ensure successful therapy outcome; education of patients and their family members on the basic principles of therapy and the role of medications in it; they must master the methods for ensuring and facilitating patient compliance.
