About Study Course

Objective

Promote the acquisition of knowledge as the main nervous system disease pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, treatment principles and objectives of rehabilitation care.

Preliminary Knowledge

Theoretical knowledge of the nervous system anatomy and physiology.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.After a successfully acquired educational course programme of Neurology, student will be able to: • outline the main nervous system mechanisms of damage and pathogenesis; • recognize at clinical practice the main nervous system syndrome and clinical manifestations of neurological disease. Evaluate the rehabilitation possibilities and their role in clinical practice.

Skills

1.After a successfully acquired educational course programme of Neurology, student will be able to: • collect patient's medical history; • evaluate patient's neurological status; • identify the tasks of rehabilitation for patients with nervous system disorders and diseases.

Competences

1.• To recognise the most common symptoms of neurological disease, justified and formulate logical the diagnosis of neurology disorders. • To develop optimal treatment, investigation and rehabilitation plans for specific clinical case.
