About Study Course

Objective

To ensure the acquisition and improvement of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in maxillofacial surgery in accordance with the requirements of the regulations of the specialty of neurosurgery.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.Resident possesses knowledge on symptomatology, diagnostics, surgical treatment indications of traumatic or oncologic maxillofacial damages, as well as principles of application of diagnostic and medical methods (surgeries).

Skills

1.Ability to examine patients with traumatic maxillofacial damages, and provide the emergency assistance to them.

Competences

1.The doctor, using the acquired knowledge and skills, is able to independently recognize and diagnose maxillofacial surgical diseases, evaluate them, if necessary, involving the relevant specialist.

In addition to the workshops, residents carry out research and teaching, as well as visits to CEF RS organized lectures of medicine and other sciences interdisciplinary problems and the theory of the guidelines.
