Objective

Knowledge
1.The student will know: • Symptoms and syndromes of psychiatric and narcological pathology. • Differences between mental illnesses and somatic illnesses with secondary disorders of consciousness. • Doctor's tactics in dealing with a mentally unbalanced patient.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: • Assess the patient's mental state and provide emergency medical assistance. • Formulate indications for hospitalization in the "State Agency of Mental Health".
Competences
1.Provide emergency assistance and evaluate indications for the involvement of a psychiatrist in the treatment process.

Behavioral disorders: affective disorders, confusion and memory disorders, perceptual disorders, psychomotor disorders, thinking disorders. Acute disorders in psychiatry: acute psychoses, anorexia, bulimia, panic attacks, self-mutilation and suicide attempts, depression, alcohol and drug overdose. Delirium.
