Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.Knowledge of the order and methods of perioral and oral tissue investigation. Knowledge of possible reasons for disease development and prognosis. Knowledge of structural and functional changes in tissues in case of various oral diseases. Knowledge of differential diagnosis of oral mucosa diseases. Knowledge of treatment options for oral mucosa diseases. Knowledge of medications for the treatment of oral mucosa diseases, their indications, contraindications, and possible side effects.
Skills
1.Can properly investigate perioral tissues of the oral cavity. Is able to perform differential diagnosis of diseases of the oral mucosa. Can prescribe medications necessary for the treatment of diseases of the oral mucosa.
Competences
1.Uses acquired knowledge in clinical practice. Is able to diagnose and explain to the patient the further treatment tactics.
