About Study Course
Objective
To promote knowledge of the basic concepts of rehabilitation and the application of rehabilitation technologies, to develop understanding of the rehabilitation process.

Normal anatomy, physiology, clinical medicine, pathological physiology.
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.As a result of the course, students are able to describe the organisation of rehabilitation care, rehabilitation stages and the rehabilitation team; define the role of the masseur in rehabilitation care; recognise the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health; describe functional capacity assessment; physical therapy methods; indications and contraindications for cold and heat therapy; recognise postural characteristics; outline the basic principles of rehabilitation and potential problems in different patient profiles. Skills
1.As a result of the course, students will be able to perform simple tests to assess the client's physical functional capacity and daily activities; demonstrate simple exercises for different types of clients; apply the basic principles of cold and heat therapy; illustrate postural characteristics; recognise postural disorders and correct them using massage procedures.

1.As a result of the study course, students are able to assess potential problems in rehabilitation care; perform posture assessment; apply simple exercises and rehabilitation basics in massage therapy in rehabilitation care; use the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in professional practice.
