Knowledge
1.Capable of demonstrating that they know and understand latest scientific image theories and insights, know image research methodology.
Skills
1.Able to independently evaluate and select appropriate research methods for scientific research on static image, has made a contribution to supplementing of knowledge or skills or given new insights to existing knowledge and application thereof in practice, while implementing an original research. The research is qualified at the level of an internationally quotable publication.
Competences
1.Students independently propose up-to-date static image research ideas, plan, structure and are able to lead a personal research project on the use of static images in visual culture.

Preparation for seminars, study and learning of literature and information materials. Development of independent and group research projects.

Study course assessment – examination (50%). For the final assessment, all the homework must be done, submitted and presented during the seminars or consultations (50%). The examination grade is given for the development of own visual cultural research design.
