About Study Course
Objective
Develop and promote students’ understanding of apitherapy opportunities in the context of physical activity and sport, and develop the skills to apply bee products to strengthening the health and capacity of athletes based on scientific evidence.
Preliminary Knowledge
Basic knowledge in Anatomy, Physiology and Sports Science.

Knowledge
1.Is familiar with the theoretical basics of apiterapia, bee products and their physiological effects.
The use of a bee product in health maintenance, fitness, athletes’ faster restoration of their workability, guided by the latest scientific research.
Skills
1.Knows how to select and apply bee products during periods of training, competition and renewal.

Competences
1.1. Able to critically analyse scientific research on the efficacy of apitherapy in sport. 2. Can justify the therapy approach chosen in cooperation with athletes and sports specialists. 3. Able to identify and assess risks through the use of bee products (awareness of allergies to bee products).
