About Study Course

Objective

Deepen students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills in rheumatology necessary traumatologist orthopaedist specialty.

Learning Outcomes

Knowledge

1.a) to name and describe the different types of rheumatic diseases, b) to evaluate the different investigation methods, its necessity and importance. c) describe and explain the methods of treatment, its importance, results and prognosis, d) to evaluate the ability to work and to predict the course of the disease.

Skills

1.a) to investigate patients with rheumatic diseases, assess disease expression, and to set an accurate diagnosis, b) to draw up a plan for the necessary investigations to clarify the diagnosis, c) the interpretation of clinical analysis and imaging results d) select and perform the appropriate method of treatment, e) to determine the surgical indication for the treatment and perform it f) to aspirate large joints and perform intraarticular injections

Competences

1.Using the the acquired knowledge will be able to: a) the interpret of the investigations data, b) to formulate a diagnosis and explain it c) to develop a treatment plan d) to analyze the results of treatment, to predict the course of the disease and determine capacity for work.
