About Study Course
Objective
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge
1.The student will know: • Symptoms, syndromes and possible differential diagnoses of damage to the nervous system. • Medical tactics in case of acute damage to the nervous system. • Methods of lowering increased intracranial pressure.
Skills
1.The student will be able to: • Assess the patient's consciousness, incl. according to the Glasgow Coma Scale. • Perform a lumbar puncture. • Interpret the symptoms of damage to the nervous system. • To evaluate the results of the liquid dynamic test and analysis of the liquid. • Interpret neuroradiological examinations. • Formulate indications for urgent hospitalization and/or outpatient treatment under the supervision of a family doctor.
Competences
1.Competencies in neurology II - independently examine the patient, justify and formulate the diagnosis, draw up a treatment plan. Carry out manipulations independently.
